Perhaps you are wondering why the business is named Patience Harmony?  

This is due to having a background in music and naturally attracted to this niche. Studying history of specific composers and genres together with the psychological processes involved in the brain of how music is perceived. Applying research methods via knowledge gained through the study of psychology to investigate the mental processes involved in performing, listening, learning and practicing music.    

Through networking with psychologists, tutors and lecturers at all levels the business is kept up to date of the importance of how structures and processes of the brain evolve, for example the cerebellum as a result of constant practice. In January 2022 Hutchinson et al (2003) reported that compared to non-musicians, young keyboard players had a larger cerebellar volume and found a correlation between the cerebellar volume and the intensity of daily practice. To complement this, having held membership with the Institute of  Will Writers from 2018 to 2021 and staying up to date with any changes to the Estate Planning laws.  With a background as a legal secretary employed by Slaughter & May in the heart of the City of London. The objective is to add Lasting Power of Attorney to the business.

Royal Swan

The name Royal Swan was chosen as the shop is based in Swan Lake on Palace Street. Royal Swan Limited is in the capable hands of Polash Media a business partner producing sign boards, branding, printing, secretarial services and publishing of books. Clients include churches, hospitals, entertainment, restaurants, bakers, and small businesses based nearby in Swan Lane, Palace Street. It is the venue for students to collect annual exam results and placements. A visit to the Ministry of Interior in 2023 Accra granted Royal Swan the permission to promote the benefits of dual citizenship to British and Ghanaian citizens based in Ghana. The Company was launched as a result of visiting Ghana for the ‘Year of the Return’ in 2019 which was set up as a promotion to make Ghana a key destination to anyone of the Ghanaian diaspora and to rebuild the past going back 400 years. It has been reported that 760,000 citizens visited Ghana and an additional 1.9 billion dollars was accrued. Due to COVID a return to England was delayed and the premises was passed on to Polash Media.   

The shops were built by Paul Sarkodee-Adoo late brother of Patience and eldest son of Harry son of Julius Sarkodee-Adoo from Koforiduda.  Other businesses on the family estate include  in no particular order industrial printers, beauticians, electrical company selling mobile communication devices such as PCs, printers, TVs and several other related services,  hair salon, nail salons, barbers, Dubai travel agents, premium wine shop, fabric shop suppliers of the original Kente of the Ashantis, dress designers, and tailors.  These companies  regularly met with Royal Swan to discuss various issues so If you run any of these businesses, please do get in touch.

With 3 decares of corporate experience including with  BT where the focus was on retaining and growing the Company client base.  In addition to this there is advertising experience with  Celebrity Angels based at Highgate Studios.  The Celebrity Angels magazine is available on newsstands, home interiors, estate agents and leisure venues.  Royal Swan have expressed an objective to nearby businesses to publish advertising magazines with relevant content for advertisers to be distributed locally this will include a driving school and hotels.
